No. 13 Tennessee (4-1) defeated Middle Tennessee State, 85-41, Thursday at Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The Lady Vols led, 48-16, at halftime.
Janiah Barker posted a double-double for Tennessee as she totaled 20 points and 12 rebounds. She also recorded two blocks, one assist and one steal. Barker converted 6-of-10 field goal attempts, 1-of-3 three-point attempts and 7-of-8 free throw attempts. She was one of four Lady Vols to score 10-plus points against the Blue Raiders.

Deniya Prawl totaled 15 points, four rebounds and four steals, while Talaysia Cooper had 13 points, six steals, five assists and three rebounds for the Lady Vols. Mya Pauldo scored 10 points, converting 5-of-5 field goal attempts for the Lady Vols, who outrebounded Middle Tennessee State, 47-31, and forced 27 Blue Raiders turnovers in the contest.
Savannah Davis scored 18 points to lead Middle Tennessee State.
