Dutch golfer Lauren Holmey secured her third consecutive victory on the 2025 Santander Golf Tour on Thursday, winning the tournament held in A Coruña. She triumphed in a thrilling duel against Spain's Elena Melich.
Holmey finished with a total score of one over par on the demanding course at the Real Club de Golf de A Coruña, in a round marked by strong gusts of wind and challenging greens at A Zapateira.
The Dutch player's victory, following her wins this season at Empordà Golf and Club de Campo Laukariz, strengthens her lead at the top of the overall standings.

Melich, meanwhile, secured a strong second place with a score of +2, while Scotland's Laura Beveridge completed the podium with +3.
The day began with the resumption of the remaining holes from the first round, which had been suspended due to fog. Holmey, who started the final round at +1 after completing the remaining five holes of her front nine, began the back nine two strokes behind leaders Melich and Hulda Gestsdottir.
An early bogey on the 2nd hole seemed to complicate her chances, but the Dutchwoman remained calm, stringing together three consecutive pars before making her first birdie on the par-5 6th. Although she dropped another stroke with a bogey on the 7th, she recovered ground with another birdie on the 8th, putting her just one stroke behind Melich, who was at even par.
The back nine was a display of control and composure from Holmey. A par on the 10th and two well-deserved birdies on the 11th and 13th put her in the lead, just as Melich stumbled with a double bogey on the 14th, the hole that would ultimately decide the title.
From there, the Dutchwoman played intelligently, racking up four consecutive pars from 14 to 17 to protect her lead. A mistake on her second shot of the 18th, which hit a tree, cost her a final bogey, but her margin was sufficient: a one-stroke victory and another trophy for her brilliant season.
The Santander Golf Tour will continue its tour at Zaudín Golf Club (Seville), where the Doubles Championship will be held from November 5th to 6th.
