Last weekend’s Laver Cup in San Francisco. was the most attended Laver Cup in history. The event provided Tennis Now with some numbers from the weekend.

Attendance

  • Over 81,500 fans attended the five sessions at Chase Center, the largest attendance in the event’s history.
  • Over 4,700 fans attended the Laver Cup Open Practice Day presented by FICO on Thursday before the event, including 2,000 children from schools, tennis programs and youth organizations across the Bay Area. 
  • 90% of fans were from the United States, representing 48 different states.
  • 10% of fans were from outside the United States, representing more than 40 countries.
  • 50% of fans travelled more than 1.5 hours to attend the Laver Cup. 
  • Laver Cup Fan Zone in Thrive City saw over 112,000 fans experience the outdoor activation.

TEAMS

  • In 2025, Team Captains Yannick Noah and Andre Agassi and Vice Captains Tim Henman and Pat Rafter made their debut at the Laver Cup. 
  • Taylor Fritz is the only player to be a part of each of Team World’s tournament victories at the Laver Cup in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
  • Taylor Fritz became the first American player to claim a singles win at the Laver Cup on American soil. 
  • Taylor Fritz is now the first player in the event’s history to claim multiple ATP top five wins at a single edition of the Laver Cup.
  • Taylor Fritz (15) now trails Jack Sock (20) in points claimed for Team World at the Laver Cup.
  • Alex de Minaur registered his fifth career top-3 win, three of these five have been in team events.
  • Jakub Mensik became the youngest player to win singles and doubles matches on the same day at the Laver Cup, surpassing Carlos Alcaraz on Day 3 2024.
  • Joao Fonseca became the first teenager to win a Laver Cup match since the event’s inception in 2017.
  • Alexander Zverev became the first player to appear in 10+ singles matches at the Laver Cup.
  • Alexander Zverev (16) equaled Jack Sock for the most matches played at the Laver Cup.
  • Taylor Fritz (6) equaled Roger Federer for the second most wins in singles at the Laver Cup, only Alexander Zverev (7) has more.
