LOS ANGELES, CA — With the final two weeks of the 2025 season underway, starting with a crucial road game against Oregon that will most certainly decide USC’s CFP fate, Trojans Head Coach Lincoln Riley provided some health updates concerning key starters, such as Kamari Ramsey, Bishop Fitzgerald, Elijah Paige, and Waymond Jordan.
Concerning Ramsey, Fitzgerald, and Paige, Riley said that they did some things during Tuesday’s practice, but would not give a definitive yes or no on whether or not they will play on Saturday in Eugene. He plans to get them through the week and see where they are at.

Fitzgerald, Ramsey, and Paige all suffered injuries during the Trojans’ comeback win against Iowa last Saturday at the Coliseum.
A surprise guest who attended practice in pads was running back Waymond Jordan, who has been sidelined since the Trojans faced Michigan on October 11. Jordan, who underwent surgery shortly after and was expected to miss four to six weeks, seemed to be in high spirits coming out to attend practice Tuesday afternoon.
Coach Riley shut down any possibility for Jordan to return against the Ducks.
“He’s getting closer, but I don’t expect him to play this week,” Riley told the media after Tuesday’s practice on the status of Jordan’s possible return to the field against Oregon.

With the circumstances that come with recovery and the toll on the body you receive when playing the running back position, the chances of seeing Jordan return to the cardinal and gold before the season concludes are quite slim, but never say never.
Surprisingly, since the Trojans have lost both Jordan and Eli Sanders to injuries in the same game many weeks ago, the redshirt freshman in King Miller has not shied away from the responsibilities of being the new starting running back for USC.
“It’s gone remarkably well, “Coach Riley said on Miller’s transition to starting running back and how his play has positively affected the Trojans’ offensive line. “I don’t know that anyone could’ve predicted that, to be honest, to lose what we lost, and on top of that, reshuffle the offensive line that we’ve had, normally, that’s a death sentence for an offense.”
