Tonight’s edition of Friday Night Lights is inside the Dean Dome, as your North Carolina Tar Heels search for their fourth-consecutive win on the basketball court.
UNC (3-0), which downed Radford by an 89-74 mark on Tuesday night, welcomes North Carolina Central to Chapel Hill for a 9 p.m. tip-off. The Eagles (1-3), who hail from nearby Durham, beat Bluefield State on Wednesday night for their first 2025 win.

The Tar Heels struggled with Radford (2-1) early, trailing by a point with approximately eight minutes remaining in the first half, but pulled away with a 24-10 run. Luka Bogavac (19 points), Henri Veesaar (18), Jarin Stevenson (15) and Caleb Wilson (13) all scored in double-figures for North Carolina.
Tonight will mark NC Central’s third time facing an ACC school in non-conference play. The Eagles lost 114-66 at NC State in their season-opener on November 3, then lost 81-62 at Virginia four days later.

Friday was a massive day for the Tar Heels in basketball recruiting, as they secured a commitment from 5-star wing Maximo Adams.

In addition, UNC learned that Dylan Mingo, who rescheduled his previously-canceled visit, will be in attendance tonight.
With a strong showing tonight, North Carolina can lock down two recruits in two days.
