Longhorns Daily News: Texas alum Kris Boyd is in stable condition after suffering gunshot wound

Former Texas cornerback Kris Boyd, who’s now a member of the New York Jets, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen early Sunday morning, according to multiple reports.

From NFL.com:

“The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. ET outside a business on West 38th Street near 7th Avenue, according to the New York Police Department. A 29-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, police said. The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was in critical, but stable condition. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.”
