Texas football EDGE Lance Jackson has earned a spot on this season’s SEC All-Freshmen team, according to a league announcement on the release of this year’s fishy honorees. The award comes after Jackson logged playing time all 12 regular season games through 2025.
Jackson also impacted the Longhorns’ stat book this season, including 12 solo tackles and four quarterback hits for a loss of yards, according to a recent report published in Inside Texas.

“Jackson was ranked as the No. 19 overall prospect, the No. 2 EDGE, and the No. 6 player in Texas in the 2025 Rivals Industry Ranking. On3 ranked Jackson as the No. 5 overall prospect, the No. 1 EDGE, and the No. 2 player in Texas. He was the the third highest-ranked member of Texas’ No. 1 2025 class behind Jonah Williams and Justus Terry according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.”
