Earlier this week, the Ray Guy Award announced its “Ray 8”—the watch list for the nation’s top collegiate punter. Texas Longhorns punter Jack Bouwmeester, a native of Australia, made the watch list cut for the second consecutive year. Last week in Texas’ loss to Ohio State in Columbus, Bouwmeester’s four punts totaled 185 yards, with an average of 46.2.
Bouwmeester joined Texas via the NCAA Transfer Portal in the offseason.
