LSU women’s basketball vs Morgan State score, live updates

BATON ROUGE – LSU women’s basketball is looking for its second straight 12-0 start to a season and third such streak under head coach Kim Mulkey.

The No. 5-ranked Tigers (11-0) host Morgan State (1-11) for their annual school game Tuesday (11 a.m. CT, SEC Network+). A win would be LSU’s 12th straight win to begin the 2025-26 season.

LSU started 20-0 last season before falling to South Carolina and during the program’s national championship season in 2022-23, that team began the season 23-0 before losing to South Carolina on the road on Super Bowl Sunday in 2023.

Star senior guard Flau’jae Johnson recorded her first double-double of the season in the Tigers’ 87-61 win over Louisiana Tech in the Compete 4 Cause showcase Saturday inside the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Fellow star Mikaylah Williams put up 19 points, one of her better performances of the season.

Morgan State comes into the matchup with LSU off nine straight losses, a stretch of games that included giving up 101 points to Kentucky and most recently a loss to UCF.

Freshman forward Naya Ojukwu leads the way for the Bears, putting up 17.1 points per game on a 48.9 field goal percentage. Ojukwu is the lone player that averages double figures in scoring for Morgan State.
