BATON ROUGE ― Two more dress rehearsals remain for No. 5 LSU women’s basketball as Southeastern Conference play awaits around the corner for Kim Mulkey‘s team that hasn’t really been challenged yet this season.

But up first is a matchup with Texas-Arlington (6-5) inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center Sunday (1 p.m. CT, SEC Network+).

The Tigers (12-0) have played just five home games this season so far, and their win margin inside the PMAC is astonishing. LSU has beaten opponents by 64.2 points per game at home and it has averaged scoring 108.6 points in those games. Its lowest point total at home was its last time out, a 91-33 trouncing of Morgan State this past Monday.

UTA enters the showdown with the Tigers off an 81-73 win over Texas Southern.

The Lady Mavs have a win over Texas A&M in Hawaii this season and played Colorado to within 11 points. They give up 62.4 points per game and rank 115th in the country in defensive field goal percentage at 37.9%.
