Luka Doncic & Giannis Antetokounmpo Remain Untouched Atop of All-Star Fan Voting

Eight days into the latest update cycle, and there’s one thing that’s consistent at the very top of the 2025–26 NBA All-Star fan vote.

When the league released its second round of fan returns on Tuesday, Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo once again sat comfortably as the leading vote-getters in their respective conferences.

The duo had already led the way when the first returns were announced on December 29, and neither has been displaced since.

Doncic, now in his first full season with the Los Angeles Lakers following last year’s blockbuster trade, has amassed 2,229,811 fan votes to lead the Western Conference.

Antetokounmpo, in his 13th NBA season with the Milwaukee Bucks, continues to pace the Eastern Conference with 2,092,284 votes to his name, per Yahoo Sports.

Fan voting accounts for 50 percent of the All-Star starter selection process, with current NBA players contributing 25 percent and a media panel making up the remaining 25 percent.

Voting will remain open until January fourteen at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

On the court, Doncic has more than justified his popularity. He is averaging a league-best 33.7 points per game and has already produced six 40-point performances in just 26 appearances.

Antetokounmpo’s Bucks have struggled to find consistency at 16-20, but his individual production has remained elite.

In 22 games, he is averaging 29.3 points, 10 rebounds and 5.5 assists despite missing time with a calf injury.

He is also redefining his role by running the Bucks’ offense.

“I’m at a point in my career that I just want to help my team win. Obviously, do I do I believe that I can facilitate, I can make plays?,” Giannis said after the Bucks’ 115-98 win over the Kings. “Yeah. Do I believe that I got to give them space for them to to grow? Yeah. Me and Stefan today we check the stats, right? Seven assists or more. I’ve won 69 percent of my games. And, eight assists or more, 73 percent of my games.

“When I’m a point guard, we win. No, but just give them space to grow, man. I think they’re playing great. We are going to need them to make plays, especially when we play on the road, when we play big games, not that we try to dig ourselves out of this hole deep in the playoffs.”
