The penultimate episode from Season 9 of DWCS 85 started with a bang Tuesday when Luke Fernandez destroyed Rafael Pergentino in just 15 seconds.
Fernandez (6-0) made a strong statement with the second-fastest knockout in the history of the series, cracking Pergentino with a 1-2 shot that dropped him and set up some ground strikes for the finish at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

“I’m trying to make an impression, I’m trying to make a statement and the oddsmakers were right,” Fernandez said in his post-fight interview with Laura Sanko. “Being here and having this moment, it’s unbelievable. I can’t describe it.”
