Magomed Ankalaev spoiled the “Chama” party earlier this year.
In March at UFC 313, Ankalaev was finally able to step in the octagon and fight for UFC gold when he took one of the most beloved and successful fighters in recent years, Alex Pereira. It was a fight that Ankalaev had been campaigning for years, but it avoided him until UFC 313. Ankalaev made sure to make the most of his opportunity. He stood with Pereira and won a comfortable unanimous decision.

Ankalaev (21-1-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) and Pereira (12-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) are set to run it back in a rematch in the UFC 320 main event Oct. 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
