SEATTLE — The Mariners announced Wednesday that the franchise will celebrate its 50th season throughout 2026, headlined by 50 Seasons Celebration Weekend from August 7-9 at T-Mobile Park.
The Mariners will honor the Top 50 Greatest Mariners Players in a special pregame ceremony on August 8, plus an additional lineup of 50 Seasons giveaway items and promotions over the course of the 2026 season.
“Celebrating 50 seasons of Mariners baseball is a tribute to the generations of fans, the community, and the Mariners players who have defined this franchise,” Mariners President of Business Operations Kevin Martinez said. “Their passion, dedication, and belief have carried this franchise for the past half-century, and their passion fuels our excitement for not only our 50 Seasons celebration, but also the next 50 years of Mariners baseball.”
MARINERS 50 SEASONS LOGO & JERSEY PATCH
The Mariners will wear a “50 Seasons” patch on their jerseys during the 2026 season, which will replace the primary logo on the sleeves.
The Mariners 50 Seasons logo incorporates elements representing the franchise and its history, including a ring of 116 lines that pays homage to the 2001 team’s AL-record 116 wins, geographical features honoring the Pacific Northwest, the original typeface from the team’s inaugural 1977 season, and more.
TOP 50 GREATEST MARINERS PLAYERS VOTE
Fans, along with input from Mariners legends and others, will decide the Top 50 Greatest Mariners Players that will be revealed at T-Mobile Park on August 8.
50 SEASONS CELEBRATION WEEKEND – AUGUST 7-9
The Mariners will hold a weekend full of events in celebration of their 50th season over a 3-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays from August 7-9. The weekend will culminate with 50 Seasons Celebration Night on August 8 where the Top 50 Greatest Mariners Players will be honored in a special pregame ceremony.
More Mariners 50 Seasons Celebration Weekend events will be announced at a later date.
50 SEASONS PROMOTION & GIVEAWAY DATES
The Collectable Pin Program honoring each decade of Mariners baseball will also feature an additional collectable pin at KeyBank retail locations.
More details will be shared on additional promotions throughout the 2026 season.
50 SEASONS SUMMER SOIREE AT VICTORY HALL
A portion of the funds raised at the annual Summer Soiree charity gala in support of the Mariners Care Foundation will go towards a 50 Seasons legacy gift benefiting the Seattle community. Tickets to the gala on August 2 will go on sale at a later date with more details to follow.
The Mariners Team Store will debut its Mariners 50 Seasons Collection at both T-Mobile Park and its Downtown Seattle Store (4th & Stewart) starting at 11:00 am today.
The collection will include Mariners 50 Seasons caps, apparel, and baseballs, with additional gear arriving throughout the holidays and in 2026.
