The Miz and Maryse are one of WWE’s most iconic power couples—and there may still be more to come from the former two-time Divas Champion.
Maryse hasn’t wrestled since her mixed tag match at the 2022 Royal Rumble, where she teamed with her husband to face Edge and Beth Phoenix. But according to The Miz, she isn’t ruling out a return to the ring.
When speaking to Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Miz revealed that Maryse remains open to the idea of stepping back into the spotlight:
“If the right opportunity presents itself.”
The topic came up while Miz reflected on his favorite WrestleMania memories—specifically his tag team match alongside Maryse against John Cena and Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33. For Miz, it wasn’t just a match—it was a personal milestone.
“I loved walking down the ramp with my wife as a tag team. It’s really cool, especially watching Seth and Becky, and AJ and CM Punk. It’s so cool and not many people get to actually do what Maryse and I got to do, which is walk down the aisle in our wedding and in our career at the biggest stage of all, WrestleMania. That was a really cool moment.”
While Maryse hasn’t laced up her boots in over two years, she has still appeared on WWE programming. Most recently, she was spotted in the crowd at Evolution 2, reminding fans that she’s never too far from the action.
With other real-life couples like Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch and CM Punk & AJ Lee making headlines, the idea of Miz and Maryse returning together could easily become reality—if WWE calls.
