Knight is a 6-foot-8, 205-pound power forward. He gives Matt Painter his first true frontcourt commitment in the class, following earlier pledges from Webber, a wing, and combo guard Luke Ertel of Mount Vernon.
Knight is a three-star prospect ranked No. 184 nationally per Rivals industry rankings.
Knight’s recruitment developed quickly. His other offers included Illinois, LSU, Mississippi State, VCU and Virginia Tech.
