Merab Dvalishvili, known for his smothering wrestling, has talked up wanting to knock out Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320, but will he actually follow through? This bantamweight title bout scheduled for five rounds is taking place Saturday, October 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Dvalishvili, 34, is in the middle of an historic run at 135 pounds, having rattled off 14 consecutive wins since 2018. That includes his September 2024 title win over Sean O’Malley and two successful title defenses this year against Umar Nurmagomedov and in a rematch with O’Malley.

Sandhagen, 33, has won four of his past five fights heading into UFC 320. He’s coming off a an injury TKO win over former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in May. Sandhagen had lost a unanimous decision to Nurmagomedov prior to that. His other three victories during this stretch have come against Song Yadon, Marlon Vera and Rob Font.

When does the UFC 320 fight card start?

The UFC 320 lineup consists of 14 fights. Early prelims start at 6 p.m. ET, prelims at 8 p.m. ET, and the pay-per-view main card at 10 p.m. ET.
