On the August 30 episode of AEW Collision, Alex Windsor challenged Mone to a title match. AEW later confirmed the match will go down on the September 3 episode of Dynamite.
During her challenge, Windsor pointed out that she made Mercedes tap out in a past tag team match. The catch? Windsor wasn’t the legal competitor at the time. Still, she made it clear that she believes she can beat the champ.
This will be Mercedes Mone’s next defense of the AEW TBS Championship. The match adds to a packed Dynamite card featuring top stars and a special tribute.
