At long last, Michael Page has his answer.
The longtime fighter said recently he had grown frustrated waiting for an opponent for the UFC’s return to his home city of London next month. And while he preferred someone in the rankings at welterweight, rather than middleweight, he simply wanted a name.

Now he has it. Page () will take on fellow Brit Sam Patterson () at UFC Fight Night 270 (Paramount+), which is set for March 21 at The O2 in London. The UFC on Monday announced the lineup for the card, which is headlined by featherweight contenders Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy.
After years in Bellator, Page came to the UFC in 2024 and beat Kevin Holland right out of the gate. Atter a loss to Ian Machado Garry, he bounced back and handed Shara Magomedov the first loss of his career, then beat former middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonier this past August.
Page had been shooting “Road House 2,” he said recently, which made the March 21 timeline for UFC London just about ideal for him.
Patterson came to the UFC through DWCS in 2022, but dropped his first fight in the promotion the next year. But in 2024, he put away Yohan Lainesse with a first-round choke. Six months later, he did the same thing to Kiefer Crosbie at UFC 304.

In March 2025, he knocked out Danny Barlow in the first round, then six months later did the same thing to Trey Waters for his fourth straight finish in the opening frame.
