The Yankees claimed outfielder off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday.

Siani, 26, appeared in 19 games with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2025, batting .235 (4-for-17) with 4R and 2BB. He played 17 games (five starts) in centerfield. Siani spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Memphis, hitting .209 (77-for-368) with 64R, 12 doubles, 4 triples, 8HR, 41RBI, 50BB and 28SB in 101 games. He appeared at all three outfield positions with Memphis (CF – 84G/83GS; RF – 9G/GS; LF – 1G/GS).

Over parts of four Major League seasons with the Cincinnati Reds (2022-23) and St. Louis Cardinals (2023-25), Siani has batted .221 (76-for-344) with 48R, 7 doubles, 2 triples, 2HR, 20RBI, 24BB and 21SB in 160 games. Siani has appeared at all three outfield positions in the Majors (CF – 140G/108GS; RF – 9G; LF – 5G/2GS).

The Glenside, Pa., native was originally selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the fourth round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft. Siani was designated for assignment by Cincinnati on August 31, 2023 and claimed off waivers by the St. Louis Cardinals on September 2, 2023. He was claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Braves on November 6, 2025. Siani was designated for assignment by Atlanta on December 10, 2025 and claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Dodgers on December 12, 2025.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the Yankees have designated RHP Kaleb Ort for assignment.
