Add another to the list of rivalry portal pickups.

Michigan State football landed Michigan transfer wide receiver Fredrick Moore on Friday, Jan. 9, according to multiple reports. The 6-foot-1, 181-pound native of St. Louis, Missouri, played in four games this season as a junior for the Wolverines and registered one special teams tackle as his only stat. He left the team in October to preserve a redshirt.

In Moore’s first two seasons, he caught 15 passes for 160 yards including a 13-yard touchdown in U-M’s win over Alabama in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl. Moore also ran five times for 28 yards and finished with four career tackles in his 30 games the past three seasons.

Moore joins a growing group of players who have crossed enemy lines in the MSU-U-M rivalry. Two players who recently switched sides – safety Jaden Mangham from the Spartans to Wolverines and linebacker Semaj Bridgeman from Ann Arbor to East Lansing before the 2024 season – both re-entered the portal this year. Mangham has since joined Purdue, his third Big Ten program.

Michigan wide receiver Fredrick Moore (3) warms up before the Indiana game at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023.
