Rumors have swirled all offseason, with reports coming out about a high profile opponent scheduling a home and home series with Michigan State basketball. Well, it is now official, Michigan State and Arkansas will be playing a home and home series against one another, pitting Tom Izzo up against John Calipari.
The first game between the Spartans and Razorbacks will happen on Nov. 8 inside of the Breslin Center. A return game will be played in Fayetteville next season.

Michigan State and Arkansas have played twice previously, with the Spartans winning both games on neutral floors, coming at the 1995 Great Eight in Auburn Hills and the 1991 Maui Invitational. Also notable, this will be the sixth meeting between Izzo and Calipari with Cal holding a 3-2 advantage.
