A second exhibition game for the Spartans has been officially announced.
Michigan State men’s basketball hasn’t released its official schedule for the upcoming season yet, but we found out on Monday another intended exhibition game for the upcoming season. Per a post from Bowling Green, Michigan State will host the Falcons on October 23 for an exhibition game at the Breslin Center. This should serve as the first game of the season for the Spartans.

Michigan State is scheduled to play Bowling Green on October 23 and a few days later play at UConn on October 28 as their two exhibition games this year. My assumption is that both of these matchups will be available for fans to watch on a streaming service or televsion.
Former Spartans point guard Lourawls “Tum Tum” Nairn Jr. is an associate head coach for the Bowling Green Falcons so there is a tie back to Michigan State in this exhibition game. As fans may remember, Nairn and the Falcons came to the Breslin Center last year and gave the Spartans a scare in an early season non-conference game.
We will keep our eyes peeled for the official Spartans schedule to be released soon. But for now, we have a locked down exhibition slate with the Falcons and Huskies on the calendar.
