Michigan State football social media hints at injury status of star wide receiver

by

Michigan State football is gearing up for it’s first Big Ten clash of the 2025 season when they travel to the west coast to take on USC on Saturday night.

Ahead of the trip, MSU has made plans to travel to California on Thursday, giving the team two full days to gear up for the time change. While the team sets to travel, the Spartans social media team posted pictures of the team boarding the plane, and they may have revealed a very important detail ahead of the game.

In the pictures, star wide receiver Nick Marsh was pictured boarding the plane with the team, showing a great prospect for his attempt at playing this weekend. Marsh is questionable with a lower leg injury, but his chances at playing may have increased significantly with him making the trip, it certainly means he has not been ruled out yet.

It is typical practice that injured players do not make these long road trips. For reference, in 2022, Jayden Reed did not make the trip to Washington after being questionable, due to being ruled out before the trip was made. This means, with Marsh making a trip, he certainly has a good chance at suiting up.
