by

Missouri women’s basketball’s first nonconference slate under new coach Kellie Harper is set.

The Tigers announced their 15-game noncon schedule Tuesday via social media, confirming a number of matchups previously reported by the Tribune over the offseason. New games on the calendar include the renewal of the Braggin’ Rights series with Illinois after a year off, a confirmed date for a road contest against Tulane and three more previously unreported nonconference games versus Southern Illinois, SIUE and Kansas City.

Missouri will play 10 homes games, four neutral-site contests and two road games before heading into its SEC calendar.

Mizzou will open its 2025-26 season against Central Arkansas on Nov. 3, before heading on the road for the first time under Harper to play Tulane on Nov. 6 in New Orleans. The Tigers will return home to face Arkansas State on Nov. 11, before traveling to Kansas City for a neutral-site Border War bout against Kansas on Nov. 15.

MU then plays back-to-back home matchups against Southern Illinois on Nov. 18 and Troy on Nov. 20, before a trio of neutral-site games against Washington State in the WBCA Showcase  on Nov. 23 in Kissimmee, Florida, and Bradley and Northwestern on Nov. 28 and 29, respectively, in the Fort Myers Tip-Off in Fort Myers, Florida.

The ACC/SEC Challenge brings Mizzou back home to face California on Dec. 4, with two more games at Mizzou Arena to follow against SIUE on Dec. 7 and Illinois on Dec. 10. The Tigers did not face the Illini last season, ending a six-season streak, excluding 2020, of facing their Braggin’ Rights rival.

MU will play its final road nonconference game against Saint Louis on Dec. 14, and then plays its final two games before SEC play begins at home, with matchups against North Alabama on Dec. 21 and Kansas City on Dec. 28.

Fans will get their first chance to see Harper’s first team in action when the Tigers face Maryville at Mizzou Arena in an exhibition matchup Oct. 28.

Missouri’s SEC slate begins Jan. 1 with a game against Texas at Mizzou Arena.
