MJF isn’t just defending his AEW World Championship on All Elite Wrestling programming — he’s taking the title outside the company and putting it on the line in an entirely different promotion.
House of Glory announced that MJF will defend the AEW World Championship at their “No Turning Back” event on February 20 at NYC EventSpace in Queens, New York. The challenger? Zilla Fatu.
The promotion released a video message from MJF confirming that he’s not just appearing — he’s defending the gold.
In the clip, MJF addressed Fatu directly and even referenced members of his famous wrestling family, including Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, and Rikishi, making it clear he’s not intimidated by the lineage.
MJF is fresh off a successful title defense against Brody King at AEW Grand Slam Australia, where he once again proved why he’s at the top of the company. Now, instead of taking a break, he’s traveling to Queens to defend the championship in front of a different crowd under the House of Glory banner.
