Maryland men’s basketball’s conference schedule was announced Thursday by the Big Ten.
The Terps will open the season at Coppin State on Nov. 3. They will host 1o Big Ten home games in total, including its opener against Michigan (Dec. 13), Oregon (Jan. 2), Indiana (Jan. 7), Penn State (Jan. 8), Purdue (Feb. 1), Ohio State (Feb. 5), Iowa (Feb. 11), Washington (Feb. 21), Rutgers (March 1) and Illinois (March 8).

For its away Big Ten opponents, Maryland is slated to take on Iowa (Dec. 6), UCLA (Jan. 10) USC (Jan. 13), Illinois (Jan. 21), Michigan State (Jan. 24), Minnesota (Feb. 8), Rutgers (Feb. 15), Northwestern (Feb. 18), Nebraska (Feb. 25) and Wisconsin (March 4).
Maryland’s home opener will feature a nearby foe in Georgetown on Nov. 7, while other notable nonconference matchups will take place against Marquette (Nov. 15) and Virginia (Dec. 20). The Terps will participate in the Players Era Championship Tournament from Nov. 24-26, which feature games against UNLV and Gonzaga.
