A high-level edge rusher from Chicago has been re-offered by the Spartans.
Brian DeMoss announced on Thursday that he’s been re-offered by the new Michigan State football coaching staff. He was originally offered by the Spartans in November of 2024, and on Thursday he posted on his social media X account that he’s been re-offered by the new coaching staff.

DeMoss is an edge rusher in the 2027 class, currently listed as a three-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 45 edge rusher and No. 586 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2027 class. He is also listed as the No. 20 player from Illinois in the class.
Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to offer DeMoss, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Arizona State, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Purdue, Washington and Wisconsin.
