Naomi is going to be out for at least nine months.
Monday Night RAW aired live tonight from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Naomi wasn’t around to defend her title, but he showed up in Philly to address the situation.
Some were concerned that Naomi’s news would take her out of the ring, and rumors started swirling around her. She was on hand to address this during RAW, as she was shown during the opening backstage with a serious expression on her face.
When the time came for Naomi’s big announcement, fans had a very good idea what she was going to say. They also announced that a special, unexpected, episode of Stephanie’s Places will drop after RAW with Jimmy Uso and Naomi.
Adam Pearce was in the ring and introduced Naomi to the ring. Naomi made her way to the ring at the close of the show’s second hour, complete with the Women’s Title. She looked happy, but she also wore her street clothes and had something important to say.
After she got the floor, fans showered her with applause and chants. Then Naomi got around to letting everyone know that she is pregnant. She showed everyone a video of her with Stephanie McMahon during their interview, where Big Jimmy Uso said that they need to “proceed with caution, because there is a baby on board.”
Adam Pearce was about to accept Naomi’s title, but she said that she isn’t giving him “sh*t.” She’s relinquished titles before, and she didn’t want to do it again. Then she told Adam Pearce to get to stepping. Naomi had a lot of fun with this segment and hoped that Pearce tripped in his church shoes, too. After Pearce was gone, Naomi said that everyone in the women’s locker room should be thanking Jimmy Uso for getting her pregnant and taking her out of action. Then Naomi said that thanks to Big Jim’s “Netflix and chill,” she is now out of action. Fans gave Naomi, “you deserve it” chants as she said that the Bloodline will continue. At that point, Naomi laid her custom title down as fans chanted “Baby Uso.”
This news was met with a big cheer from the crowd. Although it is happy news that Naomi is pregnant, she must vacate her title. That being said, this is very likely not the end of her WWE journey. She promised to come back and pick up where she dropped off.
We will have to see what is next for Naomi. She worked very hard to make it to this point. Only time will tell where this road leads her, but we will have full coverage here at Ringside News.
