Live Updates from Navy All-American Bowl Practice
12:15 p.m. CT: Teams have broken for lunch.
11:55 a.m. CT: (West) 2027 DL Marvin Nguetsop and Texas DL signee Jamarion Carlton are going to be real problems for the East offensive tackles with their size and length off the edge. Both have been very impressive at West this morning. Asharri Charles brings something different, but heโs been good too. โ Adam Gorney, National Recruiting Reporter

11:52 a.m. CT: (East) Danny Odem gets a PBU on a quick throw to the sideline. Nebraska signee has looked good. Next play, the explosive Monsanna Torbert flew down into the flat to hit a WR for a short game. The 2027 from Ohio is as twitchy a player in the secondary as there is here. Indiana is trending. โ Steve Wiltfong, Rivals VP of Recruiting
11:45 a.m. CT: (East) Going into a team period before lunch. 2027 QB Will Mencl hits 2027 WR Jaden Upshaw down the right sideline for a would-be TD. 2027 LB Sean Fox brings down USC RB signee Deshonne Redeaux at the second level. Solid gain. USCโs Luke Wafle and South Carolinaโs Julian Walker walk the respective OTs back to the QB, forcing a quick throw. On the next play, Wafle gets out to the sideline to defend an underneath pass. Those two have the potential to dominate practices and Saturdayโs game. And are so far. โ Charles Power, Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings
11:34 a.m. CT: (West) Theyโre not hitting the quarterbacks in West practice of course, but Texas signee Jamarion Carlton blew by the right tackle there and easily couldโve had a sack. โ Adam Gorney, National Recruiting Reporter
11:30 a.m. CT: (East) OL/DL 1-on-1 standouts:

USC signee Luke Wafle won 3/4 reps in dominant fashion. Moving at a different level than the OLโs, flashing impressive speed to power. A few of the wins were instantaneous. South Carolina signee Julian Walker: won 3 reps and stalemated one. Impressive long arm, walking the OL back to the dummy. Beat Sam Greer in a best-on-best rep. Looks the part out here and is up there with Wafle for most impressive showing so far. Tennessee DL signee Carter Gooden has a few dominant wins over some overmatched OLs. Good first step quickness. South Carolina DL signee Aiden Harris is quick on the interior and won a bunch of reps. โ Charles Power, Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings
11:12 a.m. CT: (East) A little intel: Michigan QB commit Peter Bourque as just started having dialogue with new QB coach Koy Detmer. Family was excited to see Bryce Underwood re-signed with Michigan. Georgia, Penn State and Va. Tech have been reaching out. Plan is to see what happens with Michigan and the new staff first. โ Steve Wiltfong, Rivals VP of Recruiting
11:02 a.m. CT: (East) Nebraska signee Danny Odem has been stout in coverage. 2027 WR Nasir Rankin, an Illinois signee, is very polished and able to catch through contact. 2027 DB Amare Nugent has been superb during 1-on-1s, and Texas A&M WR signee Aaron Gregory has been sharp all day at East practice. Ohio State DB signee Jordan Thomas has also been sticky in coverage and tracks at a high rate. โ Sam Spiegelman, Rivals National Recruiting Analyst
10:55 a.m. CT: (West) Like the look of 2027 OTs Kaeden Scott Jake Hildebrand, as well as Texas Tech signee Bryce Gilmore, who looks super powerful, at West practice. Michigan signee Malakai Lee still takes the cake from the eye test. โ Adam Gorney, National Recruiting Reporter

10:50 a.m. CT: (East) East: 2027 OT Joshua Sam-Epelle towers over the rest of the OL group. Looks to be around 6โ9. A guy who is still getting experience and figuring things out as a player. Ohio State OT signee Sam Greer looks good physically โ long arms. He is a guy in five-star conversation for the final rankings. Nebraska four-star OT signee Claude Mpouma might be a touch shorter and heavier than listed (around 6โ5, 340) but has great length. โ Charles Power, Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings
10:45 a.m. CT: (East) Texas A&M signee Aaron Gregory has been fantastic showing his hands and catch radius and body control. A few drops for Joel Wyatt, a Tennessee signee but he also showed the ability to play well above the rim. โ Sam Spiegelman, Rivals National Recruiting Analyst
10:39 a.m. CT: (West) Texas Tech defensive back signee SโVioarean Martin looks tremendous. Tall, long with an excellent frame. Ohio State receiver signee Jerquaden Guilford tracks the ball very easily. Routes on air portion is easy for him. โ Cody Bellaire, Rivals National Scout
10:35 a.m. CT: (East) Strong arm from Michigan 2027 QB commit Peter Bourque in routes on air. Tangible zip on his passes. Also like how 2027 QB Will Mencl is throwing it; coming off a 50 TD junior season. โ Charles Power, Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings

10:18 a.m. CT: (East) Tennessee five-star WR signee Tristen Keys isnโt dressed out. Heโs been in and out of action dating back to the fall with injuries. โ Charles Power, Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings
10:13 a.m. CT: (West) The Mater Dei pass-catchers look legit from a physical perspective. Ohio State signee Chris Henry Jr. is extremely long and USC signee Kayden Dixon-Wyatt is rocked up. โ Cody Bellaire, Rivals National Scout
10:10 a.m. CT: (West) Of the offensive linemen on the West, Michigan signee Malakai Lee looks outstanding. No bad weight, big and strong at left guard. Not enrolling early but happy with the Whittingham hire. โ Adam Gorney, National Recruiting Reporter
10:07 a.m. CT: Inside the Alamodome for the East practice. Players are on the field and starting to stretch. Two who immediately stand out: 5-star USC EDGE signee Luke Wafle: looks all of 6โ5.5, 255 pounds. Extremely well-built with a muscular frame and zero bad weight. To be honest, he looks like a college upperclassman or maybe even an NFL player physically. South Carolina EDGE signee Julian Walker looks phenomenal on the hoof. 6โ6, 245 pounds with plus length. โ Charles Power, Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings

10:01 a.m. CT: Muggy weather at West practice but minimal wind at practice and just over 75ยฐ. Great day for some football! โ Cody Bellaire, Rivals National Scout
9:45 a.m. CT: At East practice in the Alamodome ahead of Day 1. Some outstanding prospects here in the 2026 class include Rivals five-star and USC DL signee Luke Wafle and Texas A&M signee Tristian Givens, as well as Miami signee Keshawn Stancil, too. Tennessee five-star WR signee Tristen Keys and Aggies signee Aaron Gregory on the roster. Some top 2027s include Michigan commits Peter Bourque and Tristan Dare, as well as Wolverines legacy Charles Woodson Jr. โ Sam Spiegelman, Rivals National Recruiting Analyst
