NBC Sports Hires Tracy McGrady As Studio Analyst

NBC Sports announced that it hired Tracy McGrady as a studio analyst for the upcoming season.

McGrady will join Carmelo Anthony and Vince Carter in the studio, with Maria Taylor and Ahmed Fareed as hosts.

The philosophy behind the studio hires is to have enough on-air talent for scale, according to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic.

There is currently no set lineup for the studio show, with the company planning to mix and match talent.

NBC Sports most recently hired Michael Grady as the play-by-play voice.
