by

Nebraska football has reoffered 2027 offensive tackle Avery Michael on Thursday. Michael is a three-star prospect and is the 59th-ranked overall offensive tackle in the 2027 class and the 81st-ranked player in his class from California, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He was first offered by the program on November 24. Michael measures in at six-foot-five, 265 pounds. His offer sheet includes Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, and Purdue.

The 2027 class has six commitments. It ranks fifth nationally in the 247Sports Team Rankings. The class has six commitments in total, including two blue-chip prospects.

Michael is certainly an intriguing prospect and would give the program instant size on the offensive line. His height is certainly intriguing, as the program has gone after smaller offensive linemen over the past couple of classes. This would be a solid get for new offensive line coach Geep Wade
