Nebraska football recruiting target projected to SEC powerhouse

A Nebraska football recruiting target has landed a new projection to go to the LSU Tigers. Class of 2027 five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson logged a prediction from Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman on Tuesday morning.

Hudson is the No. 10 overall player in the 2027 class and the top tight end and player from the state of Louisiana per Rivals industry rankings. He took unofficial visits to Lincoln back in March and in June for the Battle of the Boneyard tournament.

The tight end is a dynamic player, measuring 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 230 pounds. He’s also an accomplished basketball player, averaging 21 points and 14 rebounds per game last season.

The 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class is off to a strong start. They have two blue-chip prospects in quarterback Trae Taylor and safety Tory Pittman II.

This is certainly disappointing news for a program that wants to continue getting high-level commitments. That being said, there is still a lot of time between now and signing day.
