Nebraska grabs another win with victory over Northwestern

by

Nebraska women’s basketball (16-5, 5-5) remained home following its victory over Illinois to play host to Northwestern (8-13, 2-8) on Wednesday night. The Huskers dominated the night, taking down the Wildcats 89-73 to grab their second-straight win.

Nebraska controlled the game for most of the night, despite foul trouble, going up by 11 at the end of the first and holding a double-digit lead for over half the contest. Though Northwestern cut the lead down to eight at the start of the third, the Huskers kept their foot on the gas to run away with the win.
