Once the epicenter for college football, Nebraska has slowly turned the corner towards becoming a contender in the Big Ten Conference under Matt Rhule.

And as the Huskers get back to competing, that seems to give us a showcase for the incredible high school talent within the Nebraska state borders.

That definitely includes at the quarterback position, where several key players are set to compete this coming season. Here is a look at some of the top quarterbacks in Nebraska high school football in 2025:
Jett Thomalla, Millard South
Once an Iowa State commit, Thomalla was sought out by Kalen DeBoer and Alabama shortly after. He has since committed to the Crimson Tide, as the 6-foot-4, 200-pounder will have one more season to showcase his skills in his home state. Thomalla threw for 3,664 yards and 47 touchdowns last year.

Ryan Manning, Lincoln East
As a junior, Manning had just short of 1,500 yards passing in 10 games, throwing 6 touchdowns along the way. He is committed to play football at Wayne State.
Maddox Easley, Lincoln Pius X
The 6-foot-3 Easley will be the full-time starter this coming fall after handling the QB1 role in a handful of games last season. He has been making the rounds over the summer at several high-profile camps.
Hayden Holdren, Lincoln Standing Bear
Along with shining on the football field, Holdren, a left-hander, is also a baseball prospect. He was named all-state last year by several media publications in Nebraska, recently picking up an offer from three-time NAIA champion Northwestern College.

Cameron Leggett, Millard North
Leggett racked up almost 1,900 yards with 15 touchdowns a year ago, completing 58 percent of his passes. He has great size at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds.
