Nebraska remains undefeated with 77-58 victory over Northwestern

No. 10 Nebraska (18-0, 7-0) hit the road on Saturday afternoon to face Northwestern (8-10, 0-7). In another massive performance, the Huskers blew out the Wildcats 77-58.

Nebraska took off in the second half, once again, outscoring Northwestern 43-29 in the last 20 minutes. Overall, Nebraska shot 27-of-53 from the floor, 11-of-26 from three and 12-of-15 from the free-throw line. Northwestern hit 23-of-54 in total, 5-of-14 from beyond the arc and just 7-of-10 from the foul line.

Pryce Sandfort led the Huskers in the win, scoring 22 points after going 7-of-13 from the floor and 5-of-10 from three-point range. Braden Frager also cracked 20 points on the day, shooting 8-of-14 in total. Sam Hoiberg scored 12 points and had a team-high seven rebounds and four assists.

Rienk Mast earned nine points in the win, also shooting 3-of-6 from the floor. Jamarques Lawrence tallied eight points, all coming in the first half.

Nebraska returns home for its next conference matchup, hosting the Washington Huskies for a late Wednesday night game. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
