Newcastle Red Bulls: Three more players signed to bolster backline

Newcastle Red Bulls have added three more players to strengthen their back division.

Joel Grayson, Harrison Obatoyinbo and Sam Waugh are the latest to join the newly rebranded club on one-year deals for the 2025-26 Prem Rugby season.

Full-back Grayson, 23, is the twin of Ethan – who is already at Newcastle – and the son of former England fly-half Paul.

Obatoyinbo, 24, can play at either wing or full-back and is the younger brother of Newcastle full-back Elliott. He was most recently playing for Stade Montois in the French second division.

While 6ft 6in Waugh, 20, has just graduated from Loughborough University.
