Both Junior and Senior Baseball Championship Games (Senior Division) will be played at historic Holman Stadium on Friday, August 9th (6:30pm EST) and Saturday August 10th (9:00am EST). All three divisional championship games will stream LIVE on MLB.com.
Additionally, all players will receive insight and important tips on mental health & wellness as a core part of the week’s programming. This unique portion of the event was established as a tradition in 2023 under the MLB Together social responsibility program in an effort to de-stigmatize conversations around mental health and giving insights on what the young athletes can do to remain positive and de-stress.
MLB will announce the recipient of the Jennie Finch Empowerment Award presented by ARM & HAMMER, which is awarded to the softball player who best embodies leadership characteristics. Finch, Olympic Gold Medalist and MLB Youth Softball Ambassador, will be on hand to make the special announcement and celebrate the championships.
The Nike RBI program has provided a path for many players to enter the college and professional game. MLB Clubs have drafted well over 200 RBI participants throughout the program’s 36-year history, and many others have been given the opportunity for higher education through baseball and softball scholarships. There have been more than 100 RBI alumni selected between the 2013-2025 MLB Drafts.
Nike RBI alumni who have appeared in the Major Leagues in 2025 include Taj Bradley (Minnesota Twins), who participated in the 2016 RBI World Series Jr. Division, Lawrence Butler (Athletics), Isaiah Campbell (Boston Red Sox), J.P. Crawford (Seattle Mariners), Hunter Greene (Cincinnati Reds), Michael Harris II (Atlanta Braves), who participated in the 2016 RBI World Series Jr. Division and the 2017 and 2018 RBI World Series, Brice Matthews (Houston Astros), Ramón Laureano (San Diego Padres), Dominic Smith (San Francisco Giants), Dillon Tate (Toronto Blue Jays) and Alek Thomas (Arizona Diamondbacks) and more. Crawford (Venice Boys & Girls Club RBI – ‘09), Greene (Venice Boys & Girls Club RBI – ’13), Harris II (Cincinnati Reds Nike RBI – ‘17), and Smith (Venice Boys & Girls Club RBI – ‘09) have each played in the RBI World Series.
