NJPW Star Signs Contract with AEW

by

Clark Connors is officially All Elite. The NJPW star has signed a deal with AEW, confirming his status with the company following his Collision surprise debut on the January 31, 2026 episode.

The confirmation came during the February 2 edition of Wrestling Observer Live, where Bryan Alvarez stated: “I should also mention the debut of Clark Connors, who has officially signed with AEW.”

Connors, known for his work with NJPW’s War Dogs faction, hadn’t been seen in an AEW ring since Forbidden Door 2025, where he competed for the Trios World Championships.

Facing off against Darby Allin, Connors gave a hard-hitting performance but ultimately tapped out to the Scorpion Death Lock. The post-match beatdown told a bigger story—Connors wasn’t alone.

After Allin took the mic to declare himself the conqueror of the Death Riders and promised to dominate AEW in 2026, he was blindsided by Gabe Kidd. Kidd brutalized Allin at ringside before Connors joined in, turning the steel steps on their edge and slamming Allin chest-first into them. The segment ended with Allin trapped under the steps as medical staff rushed in and Kidd issued a warning.

Connors’ alignment with Kidd signals the arrival of another War Dogs invasion in AEW—and now that he’s officially signed, this could be just the beginning.

What do you think Clark Connors’ AEW future looks like? Should he form a full-time faction with Gabe Kidd? Drop your predictions in the comments below.
