Alabama, the Auburn Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines and Florida Gators are among the schools five-star quarterback Elijah Haven is considering for fall visits. Haven is the top quarterback in the Rivals Industry Rankings for the 2027 class.

Haven’s father caught up with Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong to discuss how the quarterback’s contenders have made an impression. His father revealed how excited the recruit is to get back to Tuscaloosa.

“Bama is a perennial winner,” the elder Haven said. “It’s a program used to winning. We like Coach Sheridan and the development. They’re in a different situation. They have Ty Simpson, but also have Keelon Russell. We’re excited to see how those guys develop. They also made us feel at home when we went this summer. Spent a good amount of time with them and coach DeBoer.”

Alabama has not wasted time scheduling an unofficial visit for the fall with Penn State Nittany Lions commit Kamon Spell. The five-star running back will visit the program on October 18.

The Crimson Tide has commits from four-star edge rusher JaBarrius Garror and four-star athlete Alexander Ward in their 2027 class.

It may be a couple of years until Haven gets to Tuscaloosa, but Kalen DeBoer’s roster is loaded with talent. One of the most exciting players Alabama has is second-year receiver Ryan Williams.

Williams took the college football world by storm, recording 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns as a true freshman.

Joel Klatt named Williams as the fifth-best player in college football recently, and believed the Alabama star and Ohio State Buckeyes wideout Jeremiah Smith were the best at their position.

Things are heating up in Haven’s recruitment as DeBoer looks for a quarterback from the 2027 class.
