No. 2 Oregon Ducks open as double-digit favorites over No. 8 Indiana Hoosiers

Now that we’re a month into the college football season, we’re beginning to learn a lot about some teams. One of those teams is the Oregon Ducks, who pulled off an upset win over the Penn State Nittany Lions in extremely hostile territory on Saturday night.

The offense didn’t miss a beat aside from a slow start in the first half, and the defense shut down Penn State’s offense for much of the game. It was an all-around solid performance by the Ducks and bettors are taking notice.

Things aren’t about to get any easy for Oregon going forward. After a bye this week, the Ducks will welcome the Indiana Hoosiers to town in another top-10 matchup.

The spread is set at -10.5 points for Oregon against the No. 8-ranked team in the nation, the Indiana Hoosiers. FanDuel Sportsbook has the over/under for the game set at 51.5 and have the Ducks’ moneyline odds set at -430.

Ducks fans have gotten used to being favored by overwhelming margins, but it’s quite impressive for bettors to have this much confidence in them against another top-10 team. Oregon has two weeks to prepare as they’ll have a bye week this Saturday, so they should be nice and refreshed when they take the field against the Hoosiers.
