The December 2 episode of WWE NXT was an interesting episode, where Deadline was a big focus. The premium live event is coming up this Saturday, and now we have another title match on the card.
Ethan Page was on hand this week in a pre-recorded outside promo, and he was in a good mood. He didn’t seem to think that he needed to defend any title at Deadline.
Then Ava showed up, and she had to burst his bubble. She said that since Ethan Page hasn’t defended his North American Title in a long time, she has a challenger for him.
Suddenly, Mr. Iguana was spotted driving the car that Page came in on. That was all the confirmation that Ethan Page needed to know that he has a new challenge for his title.
