One of the top social media influencers in the world, IShowSpeed, found out the hard way that UFC fighters are not to be messed with.
Earlier this week, IShowSpeed took some time out of his busy schedule to create new content from inside UFC’s Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada. This included a brief run in with former UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira, who is gearing up for a rematch with current 205-pound champion, Magomed Ankalaev, at UFC 320 next weekend in “Sin City.”

Aside from his short encounter with “Poatan,” IShowSpeed also ran into UFC women’s strawweight fighter, Vanessa Demopoulos, who is 5-5 since joining the UFC ranks back in 2021. IShowSpeed willingly stepped inside of the UFC’s Octagon to spar Demopoulos one-on-one. Despite IShowSpeed’s athleticism and speed, the social media influencer was submitted three times in total. It was a complete masterclass by Demopoulos. IShowSpeed couldn’t believe it.
This is a pretty cool moment for Demopoulos. The UFC veteran usually doesn’t receive much buzz for her fights — due in part to her .500 record — so this was a great opportunity to show off her fighting skills in front of a huge audience. IShowSpeed has a global following and now they all know who Vanessa Demopoulos is.
