Coming off a 78-54 victory vs. Wake Forest (13-14, 3-12 ACC) Thursday, Feb, 19, Notre Dame women’s basketball stays on the road to face another bottom-four Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) foe in Southern Methodist (9-18, 2-13 ACC). The Irish (17-9, 9-6 ACC) have won two straight and four of their last five, while the Mustangs have lost seven of their last eight.
In the first-ever meeting between Notre Dame and SMU last season, the former won 88-64 at Purcell Pavilion in South Bend. This is the first time the two will ever play in Dallas, where even at Moody Coliseum the Mustangs are just 6-9 this year.
