Novak Djokovic continues to defy time on the sport's biggest stage. The 38-year-old is through to his 14th US Open semi-final, becoming the oldest player to achieve that in New York since Jimmy Connors in 1991.
Djokovic has played in the semi-final at all four Majors this season, extending his extraordinary consistency and writing history books. If he wants to chase his fifth US Open crown, the Belgrade native will likely have to beat Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner!
The veteran will face Alcaraz in the semi-final, and a white flag is not an option! Novak remains determined to alter the script and spoil a predicted title clash between the two young guns.

Many have anticipated the final duel between Carlos and Jannik, the rivals who have competed in the previous two title matches at Majors. While acknowledging their domination, the legend refuses to be reduced to a supporting role.
Instead, Novak sees his semi-final blockbuster against Carlos as another chance to challenge the very best and remain on the course toward his fifth crown in New York and the first Major in two years.
As we already said, Sinner still has a quarter-final hurdle to clear. However, his level has drawn Djokovic's recognition as the man to beat. Still, the Serb still thrives on these big moments where experience and resilience meet the ambition of a new generation.

While he prepares for the Alcaraz clash, the 38-year-old is once again chasing history. He is ready to fight against the world's finest competitors and prove that he remains an immovable force of men's tennis.
After all, the age is just a number!
"We do not need to use many words to discuss Jannik and Carlos, the world's best players. Everyone is anticipating the final between them, and I will try to spoil those plans.
Jannik has to win an extra match in comparison to Carlos and me, but he has played the best tennis throughout the tournament. I will not step onto the court waving a white flag. No one will, but particularly not me.
I have been very consistent at Majors, reaching the semi-final at every tournament. This is where I like to produce my best tennis and chase the best results. Here we are, with another opportunity to chase the title.
I hope to enter the clash against Carlos in good form and challenge him," Novak Djokovic said.
