Novak Djokovic has stopped the clock once again, this time at the US Open. The veteran passed another stern test in New York to enter the last 16, ousting Cameron Norrie 6-4, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 in two hours and 50 minutes.
The four-time champion battled through early back problems. He felt discomfort in the ninth game of the opening set and required a medical timeout. The medication began to work, and he continued without problems.
After the match, Djokovic was all smiles, mixing humor with confidence as he addressed concerns about his physical state. He sent a playful message to his biggest challengers, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, saying he feels as young and strong as ever!

Novak lost nothing of his rhythm despite the issue, dropping the second set but bouncing back strongly in sets three and four. Thus, the veteran silenced doubts with his resilience and ability to adapt.
His statement was more than just a joke – it was a reminder that, despite setbacks, the 24-time Major winner remains a dangerous contender in New York, two decades after debuting at the US Open.
While Sinner and Alcaraz remain in strong form, the Serb's mix of experience, belief and grit keeps the race for the US Open crown wide open. Despite a medical timeout, Novak kept his focus in the opening set against Cameron and claimed it 6-4.
