The Denver Nuggets will be without one of their best players for at least a month. Forward Aaron Gordon is reportedly dealing with a hamstring strain, and will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
The move comes with Gordon in the midst of his best season as a pro. In 13 games, Gordon is averaging a career-high 18.8 points.
Gordon missed two of the team’s last three games while battling a hamstring injury. Despite the issue, Gordon suited up for the Nuggets on Friday in a 112-109 with over the Houston Rockets. He played just over three minutes, scoring just one point.

The injury comes at a tough time for the Nuggets, who are already without guard Christian Braun, who is still over a month away from returning from a left ankle sprain.
Gordon, 30, has played a major role in the Nuggets getting out to a 12-4 start. He sits third on the team in points per game, trailing only Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray.
