Next week’s NXT has a massive new match.
WWE NXT’s September 16 episode was a very special one. This included Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes beating #DIY, but Williams wasn’t done with the show after that.
Trick Williams is TNA World Champion, but he wants the NXT Title once again. Oba Femi is the current NXT Champion, and he already has a match scheduled against Ricky Saints at No Mercy. That being said, things can always change, as he came out to interrupt the Grayson Waller Effect segment this week.
During the Grayson Waller Effect segment, it was revealed that Oba Femi and Trick Williams will throw down next week on NXT for their September 23 episode. This will be a title vs title match. Someone is going to walk out of NXT next week as a double champion.
It was also revealed that Myles Borne and Lexis King will have a lights out match next week on NXT. Lainey Reid and Candice LeRae will also go to battle in the finals of teh WWE Speed tournament. The winner of that match will face Sol Ruca for the title at No Mercy. Needless to say, things are looking good for next week on The CW.
NXT No Mercy 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, at the FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. Ringside News will provide complete coverage of the premium live event.
The winner of that match will still defend the NXT Title against Ricky Saints at No Mercy. Only time will tell who walks into the premium live event as champion, but this is a very interesting situation.
