Nyla Rose just sent a loud message to Mercedes Moné, and she’s not leaving anything to chance.
On August 23rd, Rose captured the EVE Championship by defeating Nightshade in the main event of EVE 138: EVE x The World. Instead of simply celebrating, she immediately jumped online and took a shot at Moné. Rose posted a photo of her newly won title alongside a screenshot showing that she had blocked Mercedes on X/Twitter. She captioned the post, “Shit….Hey can yall keep a secret…”
Mercedes caught wind of it and responded with nothing more than eye emojis, a subtle reaction that kept fans talking about the tension.
This comes right after Moné’s latest accomplishment at Rev Pro Global Wars, where she won the Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship—her ninth championship overall. Her collection now includes the AEW TBS Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, EWA Women’s Championship, Prime Time Wrestling Women’s Championship, BestYa Wrestling Women’s Championship, and the CMLL World Women’s Championship. Add in the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Championship, the Queen of Southside Championship, and her newest Scottish Women’s Championship, and it’s clear she’s building one of the most stacked resumes in wrestling today.
Rose, a former AEW Women’s Champion, clearly isn’t looking to give Moné any more opportunities to expand her trophy case—and she let the world know it with one simple block.
