Fans of the Ohio State women’s basketball team can see how the Buckeyes stack up against the top-ranked UConn Huskies on Nov. 16 in Hartford, Connecticut.
The teams last met in the 2022-23 NCAA Tournament’s Sweet Sixteen. The Buckeyes, a No. 3 seed, beat the No. 2 Huskies 73-61 and advanced to play No. 1 Virginia Tech in the Elite Eight. (OSU lost that game 84-74.)

This matchup against the Huskies is Ohio State’s first road game this season.
The Buckeyes flew by the Coppin State Eagles 88-59 at home on Nov. 9 to open the 2025-26 campaign. The Cambridge sisters, Jaloni and Kennedy, combined for 34 points with a 60% field goal percentage. Jaloni Cambridge led all scorers with 23 points and eight rebounds in the win.
Jaloni Cambridge led OSU again in a 90-33 win over Bellarmine on Nov. 13. She scored 18. However, that game was so lopsided that the Buckeyes’ bench was actually responsible for more than half the team’s scoring, with the reserves pouring in 49.
As expected, UConn has had no trouble this season, beating No. 20 Louisville 79-66 on opening night and routing Florida State 99-67 in its home opener. On Nov. 12, the Huskies stomped on Loyola Chicago 85-31 and forced an astounding 36 turnovers in the win.
